Teledyne Dalsa has expanded its line scan camera portfolio with the launch of the Tetra Series, a cost-effective yet high-performance camera family. Designed to offer superior imaging capabilities at an accessible price, the Tetra cameras are built on a 2.5 GigE Vision interface, providing 2.5 times the bandwidth of standard GigE while supporting data transmission over long cable lengths.

Optimized Performance and Efficiency

The Tetra series is available in 2k, 4k, and 8k resolutions, with models in both monochrome and color versions. Designed for industrial machine vision applications, these cameras offer low power consumption (under 6 watts) and excellent image quality.

  • Monochrome models: Available in single-line monochrome or dual-line HDR mode, delivering superior grayscale imaging.
  • Color models: Feature a true trilinear sensor for capturing red, green, and blue without interpolation, ensuring highly accurate color reproduction.

Essential Line Scan Features

The Tetra cameras come equipped with essential line scan features that enhance their versatility in industrial applications, including:
