LUCID Vision Labs Introduces Helios2 Narrow 3D ToF Camera for Precision Machine Vision

LUCID Vision Labs has unveiled the Helios2 Narrow, a new addition to its 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera lineup, designed specifically for high-precision machine vision applications such as bin picking, object positioning, and industrial automation.

Equipped with a Sony IMX556 DepthSense CMOS global shutter sensor, the Helios2 Narrow delivers 0.3 MPixel (640 x 480) resolution, 10µm x 10µm pixel size, and a frame rate of 30 fps. It features a narrow field of view (31° x 24°) and operates at a working distance of 0.3m to 8.3m, making it ideal for applications requiring high-accuracy depth measurement. The camera supports GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam 3D interfaces, ensuring seamless integration into machine vision systems.

Designed for rugged industrial environments, the Helios2 Narrow is IP67-rated, offering protection against dust and water. It operates in a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, making it highly reliable for demanding factory automation and robotic applications.
